MattRoberts-Arts is run by a voluntary staff who further the organisations ability to:

- manage a curatorial programme at venues across the UK and Internationally, drawn from artists working in a variety of media, at all stages of their career.
- Develop access to cultural activity and play a part in the culture-led regeneration of East London.
- Provide advisory sessions and informal learning skills to recent graduates, to aid in the development of their careers.

Team members are given responsibility for particular projects, and with the experience they gain they are allowed to realise their own exhibitions and events within the framework of the organisation.
